Two winters later the interlock hasn't shifted a millimeter. The base work is clearly done right.

Landscape Lighting

What it is

A landscape you live in after dark

Landscape lighting layers path, step, accent and architectural fixtures to make your property safer, more usable at night and more beautiful. We use low-voltage LED systems planned for coverage and glare control, integrated with your hardscape and planting.

A landscape you love by day disappears the moment the sun sets, the trees, the stonework, the planting, all of it swallowed by the dark, and the paths turn into trip hazards. Most homes are left with a single harsh floodlight that flattens everything and glares straight into your eyes.

We design low-voltage LED lighting in layers, uplighting trees and facade, lighting paths and steps for safety, and adding soft accents for depth, all warm, glare-free and controlled to come on by itself at dusk. The result turns the landscape you enjoy by day into one you live in at night.

Who this is for

Homeowners who want a safer, more usable and more beautiful property after dark, often alongside a hardscape project.

Scope

What's included

A complete lighting package, from a night-time design and correctly sized transformer to fixtures, concealed wiring, automatic controls and on-site aiming. The design and the aiming are what separate a lit yard from a beautiful one.

Design & lighting plan

We plan the lighting in layers, uplighting for trees and facade, path and step lights for safety, and soft accents for depth, so the yard reads as one composition rather than a scatter of bright spots. Good design is as much about the shadows we leave as the light we add.

Why it matters

The difference good lighting makes

One harsh floodlight

  • Dark, unsafe paths and steps
  • A yard you can only use in daylight
  • A beautiful facade lost after sunset
  • Harsh, glaring big-box floodlights
  • Cheap fixtures that yellow and fail in a season

With Verdanta

  • Safe, well-lit paths and steps
  • Usable outdoor space after dark
  • Dramatic night-time curb appeal
  • Warm, glare-free, layered light
  • Fixtures and wiring built to last

Yes. Low-voltage LED systems are safe around planting and hardscape, use little energy and last for years.

Cost depends on the number of fixtures, the effects you want and the size of the property. A focused entrance or a few uplit trees starts modestly, while a full property design is quoted per project. You get a clear, itemized estimate before we start.

Yes, we can retrofit lighting into an established landscape with minimal disruption using concealed wiring.

No. We use warm-white LEDs and glare-controlled fixtures, and we light in layers rather than flooding the yard. The goal is a soft, inviting effect with real shadow and depth, not a stadium.

We install timers, photocells or smart controls so lighting comes on at dusk or on schedule without any effort.

Yes, on both counts. Path and step lighting makes entrances safer to navigate after dark, and a well-lit property with no dark corners is far less appealing to intruders while still looking welcoming.

Yes, fixtures are rated for American winters and actually make snowy landscapes striking at night.

It depends on the effect and coverage you want. Our design balances safety lighting with accent lighting rather than over-lighting the yard.
