Winter clears itself

A heated driveway installs electric or hydronic snow-melt elements beneath interlock, concrete or natural stone. It melts snow and ice automatically, eliminates shovelling, reduces salt damage and makes winter entrances far safer. It is best planned alongside a new driveway or hardscape install.

A heated driveway is a snow-melt system, hydronic tubing or electric cable, sealed under your paving and driven by a sensor that switches on the moment snow starts to fall. You never shovel, never plow, and barely touch the salt that eats away at stone, concrete and planting beds.

Because the heat lives under the surface, it is best built together with a new driveway or entrance: we lay the same proper base, set the elements in an even grid, then pave over them. The result is a driveway that looks completely ordinary until the first snowfall, when it simply stays clear.
